Here’s a quick sneak peak at a few favorites from Ashley and John’s wedding we recently shot at The Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Melissa and Dan’s PhotoBooth Fun

OK so when it comes to all time great weddings we’ll definitely always have these guys in the conversation. Melissa and Dan tied the knot in one of the most beautiful places ever, St. Maarten!!  This was one hell of a destination wedding with an absolute great group of people. We met these guys through Erica and Blake, who’s wedding we shot last year. This is such a great group of family and friends and we feel like we’ve known them forever. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have worked with such great people and absolutely love being able to call our bride and grooms friends! SO here are the first of many photos from their wedding adventure. These are just some of our favorites from their reception PhotoBooth which they took full advantage of, trust me. I’ve laughed so much editing these and I keep thinking about what excuse I can use to pack the booth back up for another trip to St. Maarten!!! Helia’s Maternity Session

When I first started photographing couples and families, I always thought it would be so rewarding to capture people’s happiest moments as they move through life. With this couple I was fortunate enough be around on their happiest day when they became husband and wife and now I’m extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to be around as they become mom and dad. Capturing these special moments in their lives together has been a true honor and a lot of fun. Congrats on your growing family and we wish you the very best. mn 

Daniel’s Newborn Session

If you’ve kept up with any of our posts over the years you’ll know that this family is one of my all time favorites. I photographed their son, Charlie, throughout his first year and I’m very happy to say that he now has a baby brother to help take care of. This handsome little guy’s name is Daniel and I’m very excited to watch him grow this year into a special little guy just like his big brother. Aubree’s 3 Month Session // Fort Mill Family Photography

Check out sweet little Aubrey as she turns three months! Aubrey is the daughter of a long time friend that I grew up with and hadn’t seen in a long time so it was great being able to see him and his growing family. Aubrey and her big brother Braden were great in front of the camera and it was great hanging out with them here in Fort Mill. Thanks so much for the opportunity to capture a few of your family memories and I hope to see you again soon! You guys have a gorgeous family and we wish you the best. mn

Alex’s 3 Month Session // Fort Mill Family Portraits

What an absolutely great time to live in Fort Mill, SC. Greenways, Peach Orchards and Strawberry fields scattered all over town make for so many great photo spots. It was great seeing the Fore Family again as we got some great shots with their awesome kids in the peach orchards and around downtown. Older sister Avery and brother Nolan have quickly become pros at being a big sister and brother to little Alex who is now three months. Alex seems like the sweetest little guy and I don’t think he even made a peep during our entire session. This a great looking family and a true joy to photograph.

Charlie’s Newborn Session

Congrats to this lucky family as they welcome their new baby girl, Charlie. These guys are long time friends of ours and we couldn’t be happier for them and their growing family.  Over the past few years I’ve photographed their beautiful little girl Layton and now it’s so cool to see her becoming a big sister. Layton is an absolute character and although I’m certain she won’t give up the entire spotlight, she’ll surely let her new little sis Charlie walk through it from time to time… I think.  Congrats Goodwins on two gorgeous happy kids!!  mn

Hayes’ 6 Month Session // Winston Salem Family Photography

Here’s another one of my favorite families and definitely one of the coolest little guys I have the pleasure of photographing! Hayes was all smiles on this chilly day as we headed out to the place where his mom and dad said “I do” to shoot his six month session.  It seems like just yesterday we were there having a blast celebrating with Laura and Drew and now they’re having a blast with this little guy. Happy 6 months Hayes and I look forward to see you guys again! -mn
